You might recognize the name from the Kingom Hearts soundtracks.  The openings "Simple and Clean" and "Sanctuary" might ring a bell.  If not, search for them on youtube.com because they are simply amazing and beautiful songs! Or better yet...download or buy them!  ^_^ They are so frickin' awesome!  I can't describe her songs any other way.  I really want to get one of her CD's now.

I was wondering...are there any other J-Pop singers that you could recommend to me? I'm really into this now!  *smiles*  Yay!

As a side note....the band DHT is a good one too.  You may know them for the song, "Listen to your Heart."  If you like trance, you'll like her!

I absolutely LOVE music, so I have definitely considered a career involving it.  I remember when I was younger, I would mute my video tapes (mostly Disney) and play suitable music to certain scenes.  I loved doing that to see how the music affected movies.  Totally random, but that's me.  I was in the band for four years in middle school...I played the flute and I wasn't bad, but I didn't have the devotion.  You really have to be devoted...I had a math teacher who played the oboe in a symphony and she told me once that she practices three hours a day!  Shhh...don't tell anyone....but the whole time I was in band...I only practiced a total of four hours in those four years, I swear!  Isn't that terrible?  Who knows...maybe I will teach a philosophy of music class or something similar.  Even if I could work with musicians, that would be great!  I don't know though.....have any ideas?  I don't know what I want to be and it's driving me insane!  I want to do something I am really passionate about.  Right now, I am shooting for a bachelor's and master's in philosophy.  I definitely know that I want to earn my master's degree...no doubt about that.   Career wise...no clue!  Uggghhh!  >_<
